Lyndsey and Nick exchanged their vows in a blush garden-themed outdoor ceremony at Acacia Reservation and Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio. It was an absolutely gorgeous August day for an outdoor wedding!
Everything about Lyndsey and Nick’s day was delicate, classic, and romantic. The blush pink, peachy tones and neutral flowers by Molly Taylor & Co. were perfectly lush for a summer garden wedding. I absolutely loved Lyndsey’s Hayley Paige gown, with its’ delicate lace bodice and beautiful detail. Lyndsey also wore her mother’s pearls as a sentimental heirloom on her wedding day. Her bridesmaids wore lovely, soft off-the-shoulder dresses in a very subtle blush pink, while the groomsmen wore neutral navy tones.
These high school sweethearts were anxious to exchange their vows, but having their adorable Golden Doodle, Shelby there calmed everyone’s nerves and provided the warmest wet kisses to the bride and groom before they walked down the aisle. Lyndsey and Nick shared a sweet moment to say hello and hold hands before they officially saw each other on their wedding day.
Grandparents, friends, and family members from both sides filled in to the outdoor ceremony site. The large trees provided beautiful light, while a simple wooden cross adorned with beautifully lush flowers stood at the head of the aisle. The evening ceremony was serene and intimate as Lyndsey and Nick said their “I do’s” and shared their love with friends and family gathered around them. Even their dog, Shelby, sat attentively and watched the couple wed!
While taking bridal portraits with Lyndsey and Nick after their ceremony, you could tell that they were so happy to finally be wed and spend a few moments together in eachother’s company. The beautiful summer landscape, complete with tall wildflowers, was the perfect spot to take a few romantic bridal portraits as guests enjoyed the fun festivities of cocktail hour. The neutral ballroom with large windows provided and beautiful backdrop for the reception. Lush centerpieces and lots of greenery carried the outdoor garden style inside to the reception. The head table had tons of flowers and tall candles that offered a warm glow into the space.
The night was filled with fun, sweet moments. Lyndsey and Nick danced to their first slow dance song from a high school dance, which was the absolutely sweetest. The newlyweds surprised their guests with the East Coast Custard ice cream truck before everyone sent them off with sparklers as they exited. It was truly the most beautiful and heartfelt day!
