I’ve always love exploring different places, especially with my camera in hand… and that’s exactly what I got to do for Stacey & Aaron’s Lake View & Shedd Aquarium Chicago Engagement session! When I visited Chicago a few years ago, I knew I needed an opportunity to photograph here one day. As much as I loved it before, I think I fell in love with the city even more while getting to see it through Stacey & Aaron’s eyes!
They happen to live in a beautiful, picturesque neighborhood near Wrigley field, called Lake View. We had so much fun biking through the streets with their vintage bicycles & capturing their neighborhood. After a quick wardrobe change, we headed to the Shedd Aquarium to get some great views of the Chicago skyline. It ended up being a perfect evening for a sunset behind the city! One of my favorite stops was at Buckingham Fountain. I loved the grandeur of the fountain and the tourists loved watching us capture photos in front of the magnificent fountain. We ended the evening on the Riverfront at dusk, which really captures the beauty of the city at night.
I’m so thrilled that we got to capture some amazing views of the city and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph! These two were the greatest to work with! Until next time, Chicago! 😉
