To say that I love organization is kind of an understatement. I really don’t think I could function without organizing my work-tasks & to-dos on a daily basis. I’m most definitely one of those people that HAS to write things down for tasks both big & small (like this blog post, for example). While I love iCal and find my online studio management extremely useful, I still love to organize my day with pen & paper. From my workflow to my to-do list & everything in between. With so many responsibilities to take care of, keeping things organized is a must for me. Enter: The Day Designer.

One of the things that I love most about The Day Designer is the goal setting & strength building worksheets in the front. It’s made with creative business owners in mind, so I think these worksheets have helped me better understand how to use my days with my specific goals in mind. I also love that The Day Designer has an hourly schedule for every single day. This helps me stay on track & focused while I’m culling, editing, album designing, emailing, etc. And the daily quote— those are great!! Today’s quote is especially fitting:

“The secret of joy in work is contained in one word— excellence. To know how to do something well is to enjoy it.” – Pearl S. Buck
