Kristin and Viktor had a beautiful garden-themed wedding at the Case Western Reserve Historical Society Hanna Garden. Their ceremony and reception was beautifully detailed; a wedding photographer’s dream. If you’ve seen me in action on a wedding day, you might recognize Kristin as my wonderful friend and trusted wedding assistant! To say I was excited to photograph her day is an understatement. We’ve been talking over wedding details for at least a year or two, so I was thrilled to see her bring her vision to life. Which, by the way, shows just how incredibly talented Kristin is when it comes to her creativity! 🙂
The Hanna Garden courtyard was the perfect setting for their garden ceremony. We prayed for the rain to stay away, and it narrowly missed us. But the spring flowers were still lush and vibrant on the overcast day. We celebrated their reception at the Ambassador Ballroom in Renaissance Cleveland downtown. I love the character and old-world charm that the Ambassador Ballroom has, making it the perfect compliment to the historical garden.
If I had to sum up my friendship with Kristin, it would be that we’re completely in love with weddings, we find humor in just about anything when we’re together, and we share the love of food & sweets. So it’s no surprise that Kristin had wedding cake, ice cream, AND cookies for dessert. A girl after my own heart! 😉 But seriously, I’m so thankful to have been a part of your wedding day and to call you my friend!
