Hallie and Michael had the most beautifully lush floral Windows on the River Wedding in Cleveland, Ohio. The started their day prepping with close friends and family at a nearby hotel. Hallie’s favorite Terminal Tower peered through their window, overlooking the skyline of the city.
Before heading to their ceremony, the couple shared a private first look and spent some time taking photos around the Fine Art Gardens at the Cleveland Museum of Art. While it was a beautiful but cloudy fall day, the warmth and excitement radiated from the two of them.
They exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Stanislaus and had a romantic celebration at Windows on the River. While there wedding was classic, they lush florals and greenery, candlelight, and the nighttime skyline view reflecting on the water. It made for the perfect romantic and whimsical evening. The soft pastel colors accented the navy and gray tones wonderfully, giving it just a touch of color.
It was so much fun to be a little it more involved in the planning with Hallie & Michael and their wonderful vendors. Their vision come together through the creativity of their planner, Kirkbrides, and their florist, The Budding Tree. My favorite decor element was simple, yet elegant. They had a garland of greenery draped outside of their Catholic church, which tied in the outside to the lush florals of their wedding inside. Later in the day, it was added to the reception decor, draped along the staircase in their reception room. While it was a simple piece, it added an extra statement of lush florals throughout the room. Having greenery in your wedding decor is truly so versatile!
Hallie and Michael chose Windows on the River for their wedding celebration because of it’s sweeping skyline views of their favorite city. While it has industrial modern elements, it still has a classic feel. This made it easy for them to being their own vision to life in the space and incorporate their own elements.
There’s not doubt that Hallie had been dreaming of this day for so long, because when it finally came, she was absolutely beaming. I don’t think the two of them stopped smiling throughout the day! They were so incredibly excited to spend the day with each other and the rest of their lives. 🙂
